    The availability of the Internet has led to the development of a variety of web tools, including:

    Initially, CMI utilized Internet surveys to collect data from employees and customers sampled from client databases. We have conducted numerous internal and customer satisfaction surveys through this medium, taking advantage of the quick turnaround time and unique opportunities an Internet survey provides, such as exposing respondents to visual stimuli. The success of Internet surveying has led us to expand in scope and employ a variety of commercially available panels, as well as to construct custom panels for some of our clients.

    Conjoint Surveys/Discrete Choice Surveys

    “Trade off” approaches are extremely useful in gaining insights into consumer decision-making. CMI employs conjoint surveys and discrete choice surveys to assist in new product/service design, price sensitivity estimation, and market segmentation. In addition to traditional paper and pencil methods, these studies have been conducted with increasing frequency on the Internet.

    QTabsTM, CMI’s online crosstab solution, was developed to meet the needs of corporate decision makers who want their questions answered now, without waiting for someone else to fit additional analysis into their schedule. With QTabsTM, users can access survey data via the Internet at their convenience, creating customized crosstabs “on the fly”.  QTabsTM is flexible in design, and allows for significance testing, recoding of variables, and filtering.

    Web Insights Navigator (WINTM)

    CMI’s WINTM system is designed to facilitate organizational learning. The system packages information from a variety of data sources and summarizes information at different organizational levels, from company-wide to the account level. The interactive format and user-friendly graphical interface allow users to get answers to the questions that are most relevant to them.
